I apologize for being somewhat late on this post, but better late than never! Here are my top 10 picks for the releases this month. Overall it's been a sick month for releases, banger after banger.
10. Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl ft. Georgi Kay - In My Mind (Walden Remix)
The only remix I said was up to par to the Axwell remix would be this one, giving it a different vibe but still keeping it happy, at 18 years old Walden has created a timeless remix, this has been looping in my library for ages!
9. Hardwell & Showtek - How We Do (Original Mix)
Hardstyle producer Showtek and Hardwell collaborated to make one of the bounciest and great songs of the summer, in true Hardwell fashion he has that progressive sound but with some big bass included, although this time you can tell Showtek has peppered his sound way throughout the track, giving it a different element and changing the song for the better.
8. Zedd ft. Matthew Koma - Spectrum (Deniz Koyu Remix)
Reviving the track is one of the most underrated producers in the scene right now, Deniz Koyu. Keeping intact the anthem abilities that the song has, he changes up the drop to fit his signature sound, similar to the likes of 'Bong' and 'Tung'
7. Paris & Simo vs. Pendulum - The Island vs, Nova (3LAU Mashup)
I never usually post mashups for my top 10 segments but this one is just too good to pass up, 3LAU takes the acapella of The Island and mashes it up with Nova, the new progressive banger by Paris & Simo.
6. Delerium vs Filo & Peri - The Summer Of Silence (Original Mix)
Another mashup I believe worth posting, trance duo Filo & Peri have completely revamped a classic in order to mould it with the modern taste, and it was hugely successful.
5. Dada Life - Feed The Dada (Original Mix)
Bananas and champagne. That is all.
4. Fareoh & Archie - Feathers (Original Mix)
As a follow up to their huge hit the two have collaborated again to create another progressive banger, with Fareoh's signature uplifting sound with a somewhat dubstep twist at the end included.
3. Nervo and Hook & Sling - Reason (Original Mix)
Nervo always put a good effort in when it comes to their vocal outings like this one, as well as putting a great amount of contribution on the instrumental side, with the up and comers Hook and Sling sounds ever present during the drop.
2. Deniz Koyu - Follow You
Well this is probably one of the most uplifting tracks I have heard this year, and definitely in my top 10, Wynter Gordons vocals fit perfectly with the track and Koyu impresses us again, showing a different side to his productions.
1. Alesso & Dirty South ft. Ruben Haze - City Of Dreams (Original Mix)
I have to say that listening to this track I have put it up there in contention with Don't You Worry Child (Which i can't put on this list yet because it hasn't officially been released), the 2 have made what is going to be one of the biggest anthems year, a banger for sure!
