With the amount of electronic music coming out nowadays it's hard to keep up with the best releases of the month, so here's a monthly package of what, in my opinion, are the best releases of last month.
10. Miike Snow - Devil's Work (Dirty South Remix):
Miike Snow's infectious vocals with Dirty South's synth layered track results in a great remix, as I said he is one of the most underrated producers out there, especially if he keeps on making tracks like this.
9. Deadmau5 - The Veldt
One of the best Deadmau5 songs ever, the vocals were taken from someone who showed it to him via twitter and he couldn't have made a better choice. A track that you definitely just get lost in.
8. Nilson & The 8th Note - Looking For Love (Original Mix)
As cheesy as the vocals are in this song, the instrumentals backing it are sublime, everything drops into place so well and this is definitely one for the library. you may wanna skip to about 1:00
7. Dada Life - Rolling Stone T- Shirt (Original Mix)
We all know what we're in for when it comes to Dada Life, thick basslines and meaty synths, this track has all of this plus drunk sing-a-long vocals to go with it!
6. Sultan and Ned Shepard ft. Quilla - Walls
Skip to around 1:00, the vocals of this track, although don't really make much sense, are perfect and this is definitely the best track out of Tiesto's new compilation.
4. Tiesto & Swanky Tunes - Make Some Noise (Original Mix)
Skip to 1:00, god damn do these people know how to make some great music, the thing that gets me about this track is the drop, the dark and agressive kick drums along with the progressing synths make this such a gem.
3. The Joy Formidable - A Heavy Abacus (Quilnez Remix)
These guys are just killing it right now, a feel good electro track that just makes you want to jump up and down non-stop.
2. Proejct 46 - Reasons (Original Mix)
Hitting number 1 on Beatport it's no doubt why this is at the top of the list, it has all the elements to be a summer anthem.
1. Porter Robinson - Language
Usually into agressive 'bass in your face' music such as heavy electro beats, Porter Robinson went a different direction with this one. When asked about the production about this track he said 'I want to make ravers cry when they hear this', if you're looking for a definition of beautiful music then you've found it.
Unfortunately it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a dl link for this so I just used his soundcloud, if you find any please feel free to share.
